My wife and I visit often, and every time feels like a little trip to Tbilisi without leaving the city. Let’s talk food — the khinkali are juicy and perfectly seasoned, each one bursting with authentic Georgian flavor. The lamb chops are beautifully grilled — crispy on the outside, tender and rich inside. And the khachapuri... simply unforgettable. Every bite is warm, cheesy comfort with a golden crust. The menu is filled with classic Georgian dishes, and not once have we been disappointed. But what truly sets Gamarjoba apart is the staff. I have a special bond with David the bartender, who’s always welcoming and genuine. Giorgiy, Natia, Irakli, and manager Irakli — they all treat me and my wife not like customers, but like old friends. Even those whose names I don’t know treat us with such kindness — it honestly feels like being among colleagues or family. Georgian restaurant in Northeast Philly. Great selection of all the favorites you would expect and some unique twists. Everything was great from start to finish

Very beautiful place. Came in at 145 pm,. Got a table right away. Took our order within 5 min. Waited for food for about 10-15 min. Everything, everything was amazing... Good job to everyone!!!

Our server, Katia, was exceptional. Everything she suggested was delicious! We can’t wait to come back and try more of the recommended items. A must try!!

Everything was delicious! We ordered many items off the menu: Kubdari, Khinkali, Mushrooms with cheese, Borscht, Kharcho, Ostri, Kebab, and Cake Napoleon. My personal favorites were Kharcho and Ostri. I want to learn how to make these recipes for myself! I would love to go back again sometime.

Every dish bursts with authentic flavor. The khinkali (Georgian dumplings) were perfectly juicy and seasoned, and the khachapuri was warm, cheesy perfection. The grilled meats were tender and richly spiced, and the variety of traditional sides added great balance to the meal. Everything tasted like it was made with love and tradition. The beer selection is a standout feature. Whether you’re a fan of lagers, IPAs, or something more unique, there’s something here for everyone. Plus, they carry Georgian brews you won’t easily find elsewhere—refreshing, flavorful, and the perfect pairing for the bold cuisine. Service was attentive and friendly, with staff happy to recommend dishes and explain the origins of ingredients or cooking methods. You can tell the team here really cares about sharing Georgian culture through their food and drink. I've passed this restaurant a few times but never really paid too much attention. Went here for a work dinner and wow! The food was outstanding. I've never had Georgian food before but I am a huge fan based on this dining experience. Moderately priced, but well worth it for the quality of food and the service that you get. The wait staff was super helpful and helping us to choose the right foods. Really like that they had an online menu with pictures of each dish so you knew what you were ordering. Looking for an opportunity to come back again.
